Grande Heirloom tomatoes tomatoes are open pollinated non hybrid tomatoes that are sweeter and have a uniform red colour. They usually have a shorter shelf life and are grown for food and specific taste. They can be used in a variety of cooking. Can be boiled to make a puree and combined with boiled spaghetti to give a tangy pasta. Store in a cool dry place away from sunlight.

Yellow cherry tomatoes carry a recessive mutant gene that gives them a yellow colour. They are slightly less acidic then the red tomatoes, and are somewhat milder and sweeter In flavour. They are used in as a garnish in salads and dishes to add some colour, can be sliced and put on a toast or baguette with a drizzly of olive oil and salt & pepper for a tasty snack and in cooking recipes.
